100% Huxelrebe
High Pass Vineyard | Willamette Valley AVA
Sustainable farming practices.
Huxelrebe is a grape that is very rarely found outside of Germany and Austria. The alpine climate of High Pass Vineyard makes it a perfect climate for ripening Huxelrebe with long hangtime that brings out the honey and floral characteristics associated with grape. The grapes saw two months of maceration and fermentation before being pressed into one neutral French oak barrel for aging.
The nose of the wine is full of spice and rhubarb notes. On the palate it is pure honey and apricots. This is the biggest orange wine from 2022.
