We were blessed with 1.5 tons of Grüner from a small one acre plot at the western most part of Morning Mist Vineyard, located in the deep coastal ranges of the Willamette Valley. We direct pressed the fruit and then fermented/aged in neutral French oak barrels for 12 months before bottling. This is a weighted version of Grüner with a luscious texture and balanced acidity. The nose of the wine is very citrus-forward with lemon and lime notes and the palate is teeming with nectarine and white pepper notes and a racy, cleansing finish.
