This is our very first year working Cowiche Canyon Vineyard in the Naches Heights AVA. Cowiche is a small 1.25 acre vineyard planted to Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Gewurztraminer. We chose to harvest the whole vineyard at one time and co-ferment the grapes together, Portuguese style. If you're a fan of Only Zuul, then this is right up your alley!
The nose shows the rose petal and blood orange from the Gewurz and Pinot Gris. The palate is all about the structure and weight that the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay bring. Bright cherry and ripe strawberry on the finish.
