50% Pinot Noir, 50% Pinot Gris
Finnigan Hill Vineyard | Chehalem Mountains AVA
Certified organic.
All of the fruit comes from Finnigan Hill Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains, a stone's throw from where Joe lives. Both varieties were vinified separately as whole clusters with about two months of maceration before pressing. Aging took place in a mix of 228 liter and 500 liter neutral French oak barrels.
The nose has a blood orange aspect from the Pinot Gris with typical dark cherry notes from the Pinot Noir. The palate is very juicy with cherry cola flavors. Pair this one with November/December colder weather fare.
